about

Although many governmental and non-governmental institutions in Israel deal with different aspects of energy management, these bodies have differing agendas and rarely interact with each other thus no clear policy is in fact set. The lack of a coordinating body to bring these institutions together and set forward a clear, achievable policy is the gap the Forum aims to fill.

Goal

The Israel Energy Forum's goal is to create a shift in Israel's energy policy towards a sustainable energy policy. Energy independence, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources are key strategies in such a policy.

Vision

The Israel Energy Forum aims to develop a sustainable energy policy plan for Israel, advocate its adoption and enable its implementation. The Forum aims to bring together experts, decision-makers, NGOs, government agencies and other relevant bodies to a joint roundtable to promote the implementation of the sustainable energy plan on a practical level.

The work of the Israel Energy Forum is enabled by the following supporters, and we would like to thank them for that.
